FREE Aquiletan Filly Adoptables - Closed

Hello guys! For a special Christmas treat to all of my watchers and the members of I decided to make some FREE Aquiletan foals for you to adopt! There are 8 fillies here and they all need good, loving owners. You won’t need to pay me any points or fill out any stats, just tell me the one you would like to have and she’s all yours! Yeah! Simple as that!

Here is some information about the Aquiletan:

The Aquiletan is an ancient specie of winged horse with distinct and often beautiful swirled or flame-like markings on their bodies. A peaceful, aquatic loving breed who form loving and loyal relationships with their partners and often choose only one mate for life. If spotted they can be seen soaring effortlessly above treetops or frolicking in a calm stream or river. Most commonly they can be seen in Aquilea, their homeland. A lush and beautiful place where the aquiletan truly thrives.

Every year unpaired Aquiletans migrate back to Aquilea to find a mate and raise their young. Stallions choose a gift for their chosen mares (often a pretty flower or feather) and offer it to her in a magnificent courtship display of dance and song. If the mare accepts him, she wears the gift with pride and the two remain bonded for the rest of their lives.

Aquiletans love to sing and mares will often croon to their young, while stallions are territorial and will defend their families to the death. An Aquiletan cannot be tamed and while humans will persist on robbing these equines of their freedom, only the strongest survive and any foals bred in captivity will either be stillborn or extremely weak. An Aquiletan must be free to be happy. Stallions are often taken and thrown in to battle pits to fight for human entertainment and their wings severed or clipped to prevent escape. There are a few rules though, and I know they’re boring but please read to avoid disappointment.

Once you’ve claimed your filly she’s all yours. You don’t need to credit me for the design, just don’t claim the artwork above as your own.
You may change the design slightly but do not remove my signature.
You may not change gender. These are fillies, because colts don’t have feathering on the legs or the Arabian dished face. *Thowra will be making some colts soon if that’s what you’d prefer.
You may breed, RP and draw your character outside of dA. You can RP here at the official forum: [link]
You may name your Aquiletan and write her own backstory and personality but PLEASE be active with her. We’d love some new characters to RP with at the forums and new art to drool over!

Aquiletans don’t suit the HARPG lifestyle – so you may not add one to your stable.
